OUR 5 CORE INITIATIVES
- Skilled facilities training and a path to grow our workforce, enabling residents to stay on Maui
- Raise awareness of our aging facilities and infrastructure
- Consultative services on resilient, sustainable energy solutions
- Consultative services for clean, available water solutions
- Assist with the betterment and implementation of a Managed Coastal Retreat Plan based on the recently completed Climate Action and Resiliency Plan (CARP)
ATTENTION: Wildfire Survivors, High School Graduates, Former Maui Residents, or those looking for a brighter tomorrow and new path forward.
The Maui TradeWinds Vocational Training Program is now accepting applications. No fee is required to attend The Program, and trainees chosen will be compensated $15 per hour of training. The program seeks to bring students into the workplace for real-life experiences. Among the skills to be taught will be: basic safety, introduction to hand tools, power tools, construction math, trade literacy, introduction to blueprints, engineering trades and employability skills.
